The role of the Vascular Podiatrist and podiatry-led lower limb arterial assessment services will be under the spotlight at the EDFN National Conference on April 26th.
Speaker Michelle Miskell, a High Risk Foot Team Podiatrist at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, will take a closer look at what vascular podiatry is and the how she got into this particular field.
She will also discuss what podiatry-led lower limb arterial assessment services provide, including the evidence supporting the clinical need for this service in the community, and how it can reduce referrals into secondary care/acute vascular services.
Michelle will also share advice on how podiatrists can get into vascular podiatry.
