Novel ways to tackle the “substantial burden” of diabetic neuropathy will be under the spotlight at an upcoming masterclass delivered by the Royal Society of Medicine.
Healthcare professionals, researchers and patients are invited to join the in-person masterclass on Wednesday, April 10 from 5.30pm to 8pm.
The event, which is being held in partnership with the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation, will focus on key aspects of diabetic neuropathy including introducing new diagnostic tests, emphasising early intervention benefits, exploring novel pain management strategies, and best practices for foot ulcer management.
Additionally, participants will gain insight into amputation and effective pain management for phantom limb cases.
