Wound care the focus of upcoming conference

An event dedicated to hard to heal wounds affecting the leg and foot will take place next month.

The challenges for wound healing in the frail population will be explored at an in-person conference on Thursday, June 12, from 9am to 4pm.

Taking place at City South Campus, Seacole Building in Birmingham, the event will bring together experts, clinicians, and researchers to explore best practices and innovations in the management of wounds affecting the leg and foot.

Entitled ‘Wounds Without Borders: Innovative Solutions in Hard-to-Heal Populations’, this event provides a platform for knowledge exchange, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals dedicated to enhancing wound care.

This inaugural conference at BCU is aimed at final year undergraduate and post-registration nursing, midwifery and allied healthcare students, and nursing and allied healthcare practitioners external to the university.
