Specialist wound care podiatrist Adam Farr is one of the expert speakers at this year’s EDFN Conference on May 8, where he will be exploring the topic ‘Just because we can, should we? Palliative care – what does the legislation say?’
His session will provide delegates with:
- An understanding of how palliative and end of life care intersects with diabetic foot and vascular foot disease
- An appreciation for the legal contexts involved in palliative and end of life care
- An introduction to dealing with difficult conversations.
Adam, who is a senior podiatrist at the Royal Free Hospital in London, has worked predominantly in the high-risk foot domain both in rural and metropolitan NHS Trusts.
He sits on the Royal Free Hospital’s medicines advisory panel as a non-medical prescriber and is also on the editorial board for the Royal College of Podiatry’s magazine, The Podiatrist.
