The international podiatry community is coming together next month for a one-day conference which will shine the spotlight on the latest global perspectives and core skill sets in podiatric medicine.
The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG) is holding an ‘International Conference of Podiatric Medicine: Stepping Up – Shared Podiatric Challenges, Shared Global Opportunities’ on Wednesday, September 4.
The hybrid event, which can be accessed both online and in person, will bring together the international podiatric community to discuss, debate and share perspectives, and to support mutual understanding and learning.
Sessions will include:
- Managing lower limb challenges
- Pharmacological challenges
- Charcot foot: A global overview
- Limb salvage
- Vascular assessment.
The programme, which is five CPD approved, will be of interest to diabetologists, vascular surgeons, primary care providers, pharmacists, orthopaedic specialists in lower limb, podiatrists and podiatric surgeons.
