Health care professionals with an interest in foot disease in people with diabetes have been invited to submit abstracts ahead of a national conference.
The EDFN is holding its third online national conference on Friday, April 21, 2023, and along with keynote speakers, case studies and panel discussions, the event will also feature abstract presentations.
Event organisers are calling for submissions from anyone who has developed unique foot-related research, new processes, audits or innovations to their service. It is aimed at all clinicians interested in foot disease in people with diabetes.
All submissions will be considered and judged by the EDFN committee, with the top two being featured as presentations at the conference. Abstracts will also be featured on the EDFN website following the event.
EDFN Chair Richard Leigh said: “We’ve been very impressed with the submissions we’ve received in previous years, which covered a range of topics, case studies and examples of best practice.
“We’re looking for abstracts that are evidenced with data and that can clearly demonstrate the ultimate aim of improving lower limb services and outcomes for people with diabetes.”
The deadline for abstract submission is 5pm on Friday, March 24.
