Advanced Podiatrist Ruth Woods will share the process of implementing the National Wound Care Strategy Programme’s recommendations for care in a community-based podiatry service at the EDFN’s national conference on April 29.
Ruth, who specialises in complex risk, will discuss how, over the last nine months, City Health Care Partnership has been applying the recommendations.
The session will also cover how it has impacted on the organisation’s future plans for non-diabetic foot care provision within Hull and East Riding area.
The aim of the session is to increase the understanding of the need for non-diabetic foot ulcer care in the England; the importance of data collection; and how the NWCSP may impact on future workforce planning.
