Members of the EDFN have the opportunity to shape the agenda of this year’s National Conference by voting on a subject to be covered as part of the event.
The online event, which will see leading footcare experts share best practice and latest research, takes place on Friday, April 29, 2022.
Network members can now vote for one of the following topics that they would like to see covered as part of the conference:
- Mental health (patient, carer and staff care)
- Integrated Care Services: where do diabetes and foot conditions fit?
- Creating simple and rapid referral pathways
- The barriers to reducing amputations
Please note that only one topic can be selected. Voting ends March 31st.
EDFN’s National Conference is open to anyone working in the field of diabetic foot and lower limb, and will feature keynote speakers, case studies, panel discussions, abstracts, and presentations from Multidisciplinary Foot Teams.
The Network is growing in numbers and leads the way in sharing the latest strategic developments in diabetic foot care. The EDFN plays a pivotal role in shaping national policy: a key role is to advise relevant stakeholders – including the Department of Health, NHS England, NHS Innovation, Strategic Clinical Networks and Diabetes UK – on all matters relating to service delivery and improvements in England for diabetes-related foot disease.
