Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Foot Care Assistant to join our friendly team. The role will also have non-patient facing activities, such as, providing support in the areas of National Diabetic Foot Audit, Route cause analysis, triage and allocation.
You’ll be supported to complete the Assistant Practitioner apprenticeship level 4 to develop into the role of an Associate Practitioners, should you wish to.
You’ll be expected manage your own clinics for nail cutting and general footcare advice and also provide this service in the patient’s home. The role will also encompass assisting the Podiatrist undertaking nail surgery.
You will be enthusiastic, have excellent organisational skills and be forward thinking, able to follow treatment plans and refer back to a Podiatrist as appropriate.
You must be able to communicate effectively to ensure that the patient receives the best care possible.
