We are looking for a Band 5 Specialist Podiatrist to work within Kent Community Health NHSFoundation TrustThe post holder is required to have excellent clinical skills to deliver a range of Podiatrytreatments for patients in Kent.The post holder will work with the local team to ensure service provisions within the team are runeffectively and efficiently.A comprehensive corporate induction programme is given at the commencement of employment.As well as this the Podiatry Department offers its own preceptorship package covering all aspectsof peer review, clinical supervision, support and mentoring. A Competency programmes is usedfor staff to ensure all work is to a high clinical standard which can lead to future opportunities forcareer development into a chosen specialist area which can be supported within the service.The Department embraces the use of new ways of working using virtual consultations, WoundMatrix and Rio for clinical documentation.The service is delivered in Community Clinics, Health Centres, GP surgeries, Acute and CommunityHospital Sites, Prisons and patient’s own home. All staff are given the opportunity to get involvedin a wide variety and scope of practice. Essential Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Podiatric Medicine HCPC registration Diabetic Foot Module or willingness to successfully complete.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Completion of post-graduate ‘induction’ training

Post will be based within the Canterbury Coastal area covering Canterbury, Sturry, Herne Bay, Whitstable and Faversham and surrounding area’s
