It is an exciting time to join our Podiatry team in Harrow and we are seeking a full time Band 6 Podiatrist to join us as we continue to build upon existing models and introduce new ways of working.
Our transformation plans over the next 12 months will include further integration with primary care, planned and unplanned care models and a greater emphasis on population health.
The post holder will work across the community services and contribute to the formal provision of community podiatry. The post holder will form close relationship between acute and primary care, streamlining the local diabetes foot pathways.
The post holder will provide specialist foot care for patients with diabetes with complex, high risk foot problems. This includes diabetes patients with acute and chronic foot wounds, patients with neuropathic and vascular complications. The post holder will be clinically responsible for treatment of the high-risk caseload working autonomously, as well as part of the multidisciplinary team.
