The post holders will provide comprehensive care to podiatry patients with high foot risk, supporting patients on the diabetes and vascular foot pathways.
You will be based in community at Rusholme Health Centre and will be supported by the advanced podiatry leads in high risk care.
You will work closely with podiatry, nursing and medical colleagues in the multidisciplinary diabetic foot clinic at Rusholme Health Centre and in-reach to the Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism Centre and the inpatient service at Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI).
Applications from new graduates in podiatry is encouraged – the role would be offered at AfC band 5 and the post holder would complete a band 5 to band 6 preceptorship over 2 years. On successful completion the post holder would progress to a band 6.
