We are pleased to be able to offer a permanent Band 7 diabetic foot podiatrist within our integrated team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with significant clinical experience in managing diabetic foot care.
This is an exciting development opportunity to work across the integrated diabetic foot care pathway. You will work collaboratively with colleagues from primary, secondaryand community teams.
We are really proud of our small integrated podiatry team, this post will allow you the opportunity to make a difference to people with diabetic foot complications and to work within a multidisciplinary team under the mentorship of the diabetic foot coordinator. This is a non surgical post but we work closely with the podiatric surgical team.
You should be highly organised, working on your own initiative. You should be aware of professional and national guidelines, be up to date with current best practice and be able to demonstrate your interest in continued professional development.
Our client base is high-risk and you will be responsible for implementing and coordinating the treatment and management of foot complications associated with this high risk caseload, working within many clinical settings.
